Dave Shratweiser and I chatted after his exclusive John Veasey interview last night.  He said when Philadelphians found out he was talking to this two-time convicted mobster killer, they were terrified, even wiseguys were calling the FBI for protection.   Is he really a changed man?  Why is he talking, now?

The latest news is that the two bodies of the 16 year old female and 20 year old male from Hungary, have been found in the Delaware River.

Imagine their families grief, and then on top of it all they are having trouble getting travel documents to get into the U.S.  How much pain is one family expected to endure? It is heartbreaking.

Meantime, attorneys are weighing in on where they think the liability should fall.  Big shot local attorney Robert Mongeluzzi worked on the Tropicana and Pier 34 collapses, has a boating license, and regularly covers boat collision cases.  He joined me to give his insight.

A lot of people owe our very broke city a whole lotta money.  Over the past 8 weeks the city  collected 60 million bucks from tax delinquents as part of a two month amnesty program.

The downside– there is no relief for those still straining under program cuts and tax hikes.

So what’s the magic solution, what is going to help us climb out of this hole once and for all? Or… is it even possible at this point? Bruce Gordon and I talked about it on the 5pm news
