We kicked off our Philly anti-litter season with the 3rd Annual Spring Clean a few weeks ago, and now we’re trying to emphasize the fact that cleaning our city is more than a one day event. Have you heard of our latest campaign– ”Unlitter Us?”
We had a big event in Love Park today with the Mayor, Streets Commission, and even Tony Danza (he’s a big supporter of our city and a great guy, check out his blog “The Daily Danza”)
His dad was a garbage man and he said he would be thrilled to see what this city has done to turn around a culture of trash, dumping and littering. We are headed in the right direction and we WILL be the “Greenest City in America” which is Mayor Nutter’s goal.
So… on this Earth Day, examine your own carbon footprint, or your recycling habits. What are YOU doing to help?

Whenever I shoot an elephant or hit one with my car, I push it into the tall grass.
Then I spray paint graffitti on the exposed parts so it will blend in.
And I whittle piano keys out of the tusks.
With a wooden knife.

TGIF KLTV!!! hmmmm? I have one of those canvass shopping bags that i take with me to the store. Its a pain sometimes but green conscious news anchors dig it!!!
im weaving a blanket from Sally Ann’s hair clippings and im sure we could melt KL’s old belt buckles down for something?? be safe friends!!

I just saw a headline on AOL…..”State to Eliminate 12th Grade”.
Turns out it was Utah.
Somehow, I thought it was gonna be Alabama.
If you ever see a headline that says “State to Eliminate Grades 6 thru 12″…..

I have a question for the Weather Authority……
What the HECK was up wit dat WIND over the weekend ?
I was doing yard work all weekend and I had so much dirt blown into my eyes, the Army Corps of Engineers was gonna declare my face a wetlands.
And the only reason I chose to use the work HECK is because this is a PG rated blog.

I was @ the Phils game Sunday. SAM warned me about the wind and chill, but did i listen? No!! I was freezing until the 6th inning when the sun finally hit my section!! be safe all!!!
