Children Making A (big) Difference

Many people say they find the news depressing: bad story after bad story, reminding them that times are tough, or the world has become unrecognizeable.  So when there is a chance to do a good story, especially about children making a difference, our Joyce Evans jumps at the chance–

…It started as a lesson in civics in the Spring Garden area of Philadelphia.

It has blossomed into young students helping the homeless actually get back on their feet.

Fox 29’s Joyce Evans talks with Kerri-Lee Halkett about one charter school’s “Homeless Project.”
