No joke, I’m back….
I am officially moved in! My roommate is gone until the end of the week, but I think I’ll be okay. I have tons of unpacking to do. NOT TO MENTION… I miraculously have an internet connection (good karma I guess?)… AND, the cable guy comes tomorrow to give me a sweet hook-up.
I am really digging this place. I even have room for the keyboard. Little bro wasn’t so happy that I took it, but I convinced him that I will use it much more than he will.
This weekend I went to Tennessee.

Best time of my life. DUH.
Wow, I am officially re-connected with the world. I kind of feel like the “new guy”… I guess I should head over to KL’s to catch up on everything I’ve missed…
What have I missed? OMG… so much to do.

I was blogging on KL’s blog back when you were a LukewarmNanny.
Back in the horse and buggy days.
Grinding out comments, night after night after night, all by myself, people making fun of me, saying I’m just talking to myself, tumbleweeds flying up and hitting me in the face when I wasn’t ready, listening to corn grow…..etc.
If I say anything about you,…. it’s a compliment.

THIS BLOGGING NOTE: Please anknowledge that Larry Mendte’s wife anchors the news at 10 on FOX and that she has no involvement in this case whatsoever even though the few times her name has been mentioned. We should just take some time and anknowledge what he has done to his community. Obviously, He made a mistake but that shows me no reason for him to visit therapists. Alycia also probaly has her stuff in the case in which she has no revealed. Larry was strong enough to come out and show his side of the story while Alycia has not. Dawn Stensland, as we know- is a fine anchor and mentor, we wish her the best. I would also like to wish Larry & his family the best. We’re pulling for you Larry to get the resolved. Please respect the fact the he is a trusted anchor even throughout the mistake he has made. I could understand where “jealously” could come in. Larry has practicly been working in the businuess from the very begginning vs. Alycia Lane who is not that familar with the busniuess and has just got the money for the “looks”. Of course, looks is no reason to pay someone 80,000 more a year. Let me note, this is not modeling- its honest- fair and balanced journalism.

Privacy STILL should be RESPECTED in whatever case. I do not dislike Mr. Mente,only the act he did, he seemed to let it consume him. It is the Company’s right to pay promote or hire or fire at their discretion, not Mr. Mente’s. Of course great feelings go out to his family, but was he thinking of them when he was spending time trying to do what he was charged with. Yes he hurt people who respected him,family and his fans. Pretty,smart,or not,money in it’s extreme form cause him to take crimnal actions against another,bottom line.

When is the last time anyone saw a 65 year old anchor woman. So if miss Alicia is going to make a living in that profession,it has to be while she is young and at a very high pay rate knowing the possibilities of her longevity.Bottom line! It’s the way it is, Is it right,is it fair? Who sets the standards? Yes what he did was wrong and without being sarcastic or be-littling him as a person.
