Thursday is almost a wrap…

9pm–

Going to interview Greta now, tune in for the 10:30 segment about the Supreme Court ruling today about the right to bear arms.  She is always a good interview.

 Aside from that, we’re working hard to get the news on in an hour, we’ll also have the latest update on Vincent Fumo’s fainting spell on the Senate Floor.

about the Supreme Court ruling about guns, and what it means for cities like Philadelphia.  What do you think– is it a good thing?  Are you glad you have the right to have a gun to protect yourself, and hunt with?  Or do you fear too often they get into the wrong hands, for the wrong reasons.. Nearly Noon

When I was at the Health Fair at Love Park yesterday

my little guy kept dragging me down to see the fountain.  Finally, I gave in, and we wandered down to the pool’s edge, me in my work clothes and all, and then suddenly– I couldn’t have been more thankful we did. 

 

The mist that was blowing off this huge fountain was heavenly on a hot day.  I have to think many of you will be visiting it in the steamy days to come. (We had someone take our picture standing up at the fair too, but as you can see, it didn’t really work out)

The fair was to help educate the community about HIV and AIDS, and there were lots of helpful medical experts on hand to answer questions.  There was some great music playing too, and lots of people were dancing.  It was fun!

Oh boy, here we go.  Will this heat spell turn into a full blown heat wave?  I would rather be down the shore… (This is from Memorial Day)

But since I’m not, and chances are good, you aren’t either, we have to survive this somehow.
