Carnival Ride Crash!

The Fox 29 news at 5 o’clock reported on this carnival ride crash on the Northeast Extension:

What is that, some kind of Tilt-a-Whirl knockoff? Tea cups? Either way: At least it wasn’t the Gravitron.

WOW. For real? What happened… the wind? My dreams are shattered… I absolutely love those rides, well mostly roller coasters, but you know, I’m also a paranoid freak and always told myself that the possibility of the ride crashing was ZERO.
Awesome. I guess I’m just lucky to be alive.

Ok, so I just realized that what I thought when I read this the first time was wrong.
Here’s what I thought:
There was a carnival to the left of the highway, and the ride flew off into the street.
Here’s what I think probably really happened:
The ride was being transported and it fell off the truck carrying it.

Sorry for the confusion folks. That’s what I’m here for.
haha

Is that one of those newfangled do-it-yourself carnival rides on the back of a pickup truck that has gone wrong? I saw one of those in Alabama a few weeks ago.
