Hi! My name is Kerri-Lee Halkett, an anchor at Philadelphia's FOX 29. When the station asked me to do a daily blog, and run my own website, I stopped in my tracks-- sure, but how? I went to "Geek School" as my web department called it, and learned fast, and guess what? It's a lot of fun! I've met bloggers from all over, and many even contribute to the site-- like Johnny Goodtimes, and HOTT Nanny. Yawn, Trying to Get Moving…

I stole this Java mug from Greta’s blog because I thought it was so cute.  HAPPY THURSDAY everyone! 

Anyway, that is exactly what I’m doing now, running to the store for cream so I can have a cup of Joe to get my day going.  I worked last night, then Sharon Crowley and I met with some “sources” about some different stories we’re keeping track of, and the night became late.  This morning, my little guy and I are up and at ‘em, and after a quick jolt of caffeine, and the scrambled eggs I’m making, we should be good to go.

So, I’m going to try to convince the boss to let me LIVE BLOG from the Phillies tonight, since so many of you showed up to blog Flyers with me.  hockeylogo.gif If there isn’t a ton of other news going on, I think I might be able to twist “Tex’s” arm… hey!  If a bunch of you comment about how much you would LOVE to be part of a live blog tonight with someone at the Phillies game it would help….

    Let me start:
    Even though this is Kerri-Lee posting right now, I think Kerri-Lee should be allowed to go to the Phillies game because it shows how cutting edge our web department is. What other local tv news station’s web department sends their “correspondents” into the field? I would have the chance to provide “original content” for http://www.myfoxphilly.com AND http://www.kerrileetv.com. I mean, helllloooooo…. it’s a no brainer. (Ok, your turn)
