Mayor Nutter’s City Wide Spring clean-up this Past Saturday was a huge hit. It was great to see the city unified and excited about keeping your neighborhood clean.

The people I got a chance to talk to were puffed with pride and excitement about this project, when you look around and see your neighbors all pitching in together to keep the city clean, you can’t not to feel good about the future of the city.

Mayor Nutter wants to make Philadelphia the cleanest city in America….citing a clean city is a safer city and I think all would agree.

Mayor Nutter knows Philadelphia is a great city his goal and everyone elses should be to make Philadelphia even greater…So happy to be part of something special going on in Philadelphia and you should too!..let’s make Philadelphia the cleanest, safest, and greatest city in America. …p.s. winning a championship or two would help too……Good luck to the Flyers and Sixers playoff bound.

On a weather note I know many of you have started the spring process as you get your lawns and gardens ready..since this past week was actually the start to laying the groundwork..you know the fertilizing and stuff.

Now you need some rain..Right now there is the chance of a shower or two come Wednesday night..nothing really to widespread.

The best chance of some significant widespread showers will take place this coming Saturday. Temperatures will be warming into the 60’s by mid-week, and remain there into Saturday.

Cooler Temperatures will invade the region by late in the weekend and continue into the Middle of next week.
