Bolaris’ Baseball Blog Forecast

Hey a sure sign of spring are the boys are back in town …your philles!….and with opening day just three days away its time to come to the plate with a forecast..Cold high pressure will be in

control for your weekend..with sunny skies and chilly temps..in the 40s to around 50. By

monday..opening day that same high pressure system that gave us the chilly dry weekend will

depart. Awarm front trying to push up the coast will have a tough time getting through on

Monday…this means a rather cool and somewhat wet southerly flow will set up… This will

lead to mostly cloudy skies and from time to time we should see a passing shower..it appears

right now that any steadier rain will remain far to the North and West. This means the game should be played although you might get wet at times..bring the rain jacket and dress for temps on the

cool side with temps somewhere between 50-55…..so in my opinion its PLAYBALL!… Tuesday

will be much milder as the warm front will move through and temps well up into the 60s, with

late afternoon showers, possible thunderstorm possible with the passing of a late day cold front.

Sunshine and nice on Wednesday with temps well into the 50s…..Love to blog with my sweet

John- good to hear from you again. Don’t be a stranger.

I’m not really a weather hound, but it was nice to hear from you and, while can only speak for myself here, I’ve been a fan of the Fox29News team for a few years, and ya know, ya get used to seeing certain faces and then they get replaced (I kinda think of it as “NYPD Syndrome” - ya know- you get attached to a certain character, and then they leave, and get replaced and it’s almost like you automatically DON’T like the new guy for the simple reason that he’s NOT the old guy but eventually, you LIKE the new guy after a few episodes.)

As I said before, I’m not really a weather hound, ( I really can’t stress that enough )but, if you did have your own blog, I’d stop in once in awhile, just to say hiya.

But, I gotta be honest here, if I ever did actually have a question about the weather, I would ask David Aldrich.

Nothing personal, but I met him and he’s a GREAT guy.

Even though some of the “Young Turks” think he’s an “old forecaster”.

Rich !

How ya doin’ ?

Ya ready for the “Battle of the Joes” ?

We get to see how Joe Girardi does vs. Joe Torre.

It’s a drama within a drama.
