So, this morning, I called in to Kidd Chris as promised and the gang was all there. It’s been a while since I’ve talked to them and actually, I really liked their schtick in the morning, as much as I liked it on the afternoon drive.
Tell you what though, it felt so early! Chris says he likes having his day free, and I know what he’s saying. When I was anchoring “Good Day Philadelphia,” I loved getting up with the sun, and getting home at lunchtime. Sure, you crash around 7:30, but on the rare occasion you can force yourself to stay up, or have an afternoon nap, and go all night.
During our chat, he brought up the yoga session I demonstrated in studio and he said he had pics on his site. That’s a “Sun Salutation” Jami Appenzeller-Yancy, (Phillyfit Magazine) and I are doing. The other pic? Well, you can pretty much figure out what that view is of…

Matt- you can see them by going to the Kidd Chris website. I sent him a pic I had of them from a family Christmas cruise this year… I was wearing the same ones, so when he asked for a pic I sent it. It was a “family-friendly” pic, probably not the one he was looking for! And yes, that’s me when I first wake up in the morning LOL

Great site. Also, Kidd Chris is awesome. He had my daughter and I on his show last summer with Joe Frazier. They were all so gracious. Good people, like yerself!

Chris and the guys were, and are, some of the funniest people I’ve ever met. It was always great to hear you and Larry [Mendte] “in studio”. Radio just seems boring these last 6 or so months since he was let go, but I hope to hear you call in to his show in the future as soon as they find another place to call “home”.
