Gourmet Waste

Growing up, my dad had a compost in the backyard.  I didn’t realize back then, that that was actually a pretty progressive concept, something we are seeing so much more of now.  But it was the late 70’s, early 80’s and we had one.  (Nice job Dad!) It taught me at an early age, what happens to food scraps, and how they can become reuseable again, if broken down properly.

When I did a special report on “Gourmet Food Waste” I realized– hey, these hotels are copying my dad!  The cool thing about composting? It works on both small and large scales… check out the story I did for FOX.
