My name, sure, it’s kind of strange.
Nope, not from the South, nor is “Lee” my middle name. Jill is, actually.
My mom came up with “Kerri-Lee” after meeting one of my dad’s co-workers, “Carol-Lee.” In the hospital after she had me, she played around with the spelling, and I’ve been Kerri-Lee ever since.
As we were talking about this website, and plans for different things we could do with it, the news team was joking about my name. My news director jokingly said, “Kerri-Lee… it’s an unusual name, there can’t possibly be that many of you.” And he would have been right before google allowed me to “ego surf” and enter my name into the search engine.
Lo and behold I was pleasantly surprised to find out, there are Kerri-Lees all around the world. Like this model, Kerri-Lee Kaski.
But it doesn’t stop there– Models, directors, professors, actresses, stylists, an Irish Bed and Breakfast, a Scottish “Cattery,” a private Yacht, and plenty of Kerri-Lee myspace and facebook pages.
As a girl who never got to have one of those name license plates on the back of my banana seat bike growing up, I was thrilled to find I was in good company with other’s who survived the same trauma. Meet some Kerri-Lees (the hyphen is apparently optional)

And this is from a blogger, Dave: After reading this section, he emailed me, claiming to have had a very strange dream last night.
“KL– I had a dream last night, of my perfect world.
I met this girl named Kerri-Lee. She told me she went on vacation to Ireland, and stayed at the “Kerri-Lee Bed and Breakfast” with her Scottish cat, named Kerri-Lee. Her model friend, Kerri-Lee Kaski met her there for a Girl’s Shopping Weekend.” She needed some new artwork, so she checked out Kerri-Lee Johnson’s art studio, only to find it PACKED with a “Kerri-Lee Convention.” She met a whole bunch of new friends, and still stays in touch with all of them thanks to the fact that they all swapped Facebook and Myspace information.
I woke up and turned on the tv, and saw a FOX 29 Promo about a Tuesday night political show– featuring Bruce Gordon, and Kerri-Lee Halkett. I was like, wow.”

Phillys finally are world series champs Your a great broadcaster and also one of the best looking anchors tv has been blessed to have.
