What a dream! I got to spend part of my shift tonight at the Flyers-Maple Leafs game at the “Wach.”
Watch John Bolaris, “High-Pressure Harry” and myself on our field trip to the game!

VIDEO: Field Trip to the Flyers!
First period… quiet, I thought I was at a golf tournament, no one was really saying anything. Was it because we lost last night? But then the second period hit, and I knew I was with Philadelphians once again. The fans were on the edge of their seats, especially during the many power-plays for both teams, and the pressure the Flyers felt when they were down 2-1, with two Toronto penalties– they had to score, and they just weren’t doing it! Until one of the Maple Leafs returned to the ice from the penalty box, and BAM! I had my handy-dandy flip camera to record crowd reaction
(and mine) to the GOAL for the Flyers.
I was in Flyer’s C.O.O Peter Luukko’s suite with Joe Watson, who’s originally from Smithers, British Columbia. I loved his Canadian accent– every now and then he’d shout– “Boys, get it “oot” of there!” That’s a hard “Canadianism” to shake, I know from experience. One of the best goalies in the world– Bernie Parent- was also there.
Now one of the downfalls to going to a game on your dinnerbreak– we didn’t get to see the end of the game. But what we saw made our little field trip worth it in the end.
“Back with a Vengeance!!!!!”
Go Flyers..
