An earthquake, around here? it’s true… watch more by clicking below.
Growing up on the San Andreas fault, I am used to quakes and the threat of them– even to the extent that we learned “Duck and Cover” drills in school. We grew up on Vancouver Island “waiting for the big one” to strike, and thankfully it didn’t, and still hasn’t, and hopefully won’t for a long long time.
Delaware residents and South Jersey folks weren’t terribly shaken up by this latest quake, but they thought it was pretty unusual, and certainly, something to talk about.

Despite a feature on “America’s Most Wanted” and a $35,000 reward, no arrests have been made.
Can you help find his killer? Someone has to know something.
Many people say they find the news depressing: bad story after bad story, reminding them that times are tough, or the world has become unrecognizeable. So when there is a chance to do a good story, especially about children making a difference, our Joyce Evans jumps at the chance–
…It started as a lesson in civics in the Spring Garden area of Philadelphia.
It has blossomed into young students helping the homeless actually get back on their feet.
Fox 29’s Joyce Evans talks with Kerri-Lee Halkett about one charter school’s “Homeless Project.”
